Treatment Description

Dermal fillers consist of cross linked Hyaluronic acid which is a natural occurring gel produced in the body. They can be used to add volume, correct shape, add contour as well as reduce the appearance of fine and/or deep lines. We will use 0.7- 1 ml of filler to enhance volume and shape for a subtle and natural result. This is a quick and effective treatment with little downtime.

Procedure Time

1 hour

Product(s) used:

Intraline M2

Steps of the treatment:

Procedure for Lip Filler Treatment Consultation - We start the appointment with a consultation to discuss your concerns and goals and assess your lips and overall anatomy. This helps determine the technique we will carry out, the type of product and amount required to achieve optimal results. - We also share an overview of the procedure, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions. We take a full medical history and written consent - We will take “before” photos to document your starting point and discuss realistic expectations. Preparation - A topical numbing cream containing lidocaine, will be applied to minimise discomfort, which should help ease any pain (we leave this on for approximately 10 minutes) - The treatment area will be cleansed thoroughly to reduce the risk of infection. Marking and Planning - We will use a fine pen to mark out areas for injection points. This helps guide us with regards to the treatment plan discussed and will help to ensure symmetry and overall enhancement. Filler Injection - Using a fine needle , we inject the filler in precise areas of the lips, targeting either the borders, the body, or both, depending on your desired look. - The filler is injected in small amounts at a time, allowing for gradual shaping and customisation. We may ask you to sit up or smile to assess symmetry during the process. Massaging and Sculpting - After each injection, we may gently massage the area to distribute the filler evenly and achieve a smooth, natural appearance. Aftercare and Instructions - Once the procedure is complete, we will discuss aftercare tips to help reduce swelling and minimise bruising. This may include avoiding makeup for the next 6 hours and hot showers, applying ice, avoiding alcohol, and refraining from strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
